Hi, I'm Rosie. I am a qualified English teacher with over 15 years' experience, based in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. I am passionate about helping young people achieve their potential.

I specialise in GCSE English Language and Literature, but I am also able to teach functional skills - reading and writing - to KS3 students in preparation for GCSE study. Having worked across the major exam boards - AQA and Edexcel - I am confident teaching various specifications.

I previously worked as a SEND Teacher at Hendon School, Barnet, where I achieved my National Award for SEN Coordination (NASCO). I have also worked as an Associate Examiner for Pearson Edexcel, giving me a deep understanding of exactly how papers are marked and what examiners are looking for.

I am DBS checked. I teach online via video call or as home visits in Hoddesdon and the surrounding area. Every lesson is planned specifically for your child - there are no generic worksheets or one-size-fits-all programmes here.
